Route a thought to Todoist

Send a captured note into Todoist as a task, in whichever project you choose, with the note as its description.

How it works

From a thought to a Todoist task

  1. 1
    Capture and let Edmund triage
Type or dictate it. On-device AI reads it and files it into the right project.
  2. 2
    Tap Route, choose Todoist
It’s created in the project you picked when you set Todoist up.
  3. 3
    Done, it’s in Todoist
It lands in your chosen project. Complete it there and the note flips to Done in Edmund.

Once it’s routed

Route it here.
Finish it in Todoist.

Routing isn’t a one-way dump. A real task appears in Todoist, it stays linked to the note, and finishing it there flips the note to Done back in Edmund.

A new task appears in Todoist

The summary becomes the task and the full note becomes its description, dropped into whichever project you chose.

Complete the task in Todoist and the note advances to Done, one direction only, and it never re-opens a note you’ve already closed.

What carries over

Everything the issue needs, already filled in.

Title
The note’s summary becomes the task.
Description
The full note travels across as the task’s description.
Project
Lands in whichever project you chose.
Two-way done
Complete the task in Todoist and the note marks Done.
Get started

Connect Todoist in a minute

Connect Todoist with one tap, or paste an API token. Either way it’s a minute.

How you connect
One-tap OAuthorAPI token
Coming to the App Store

In Settings → Integrations → Todoist, tap Connect, or paste an API token from Settings → Integrations → Developer.
  2. 2
