The honest answers.

Yes. Triage runs on-device, there’s no account, and nothing leaves your device. Sync uses your own iCloud, and we never see your notes, your voice audio, or your captured thoughts.
No. Download and start capturing. There’s no sign-up, no email, no onboarding wall.
No. On-device AI is free and built in. You can add your own Anthropic key for a smarter cloud engine, but it’s entirely optional.
Linear, GitHub, Jira, GitLab, Shortcut, Asana, Todoist, ClickUp, Notion, Apple Reminders and Apple Calendar, with more only when they’re genuinely ready.
Edmund nudges you at the time you picked, wherever that note ended up. Reminders are separate from routing, so you can send a note off to Linear and still get poked about it on Thursday. Switch on “Show reminders in Apple Reminders” in Settings and those reminders also appear over there, in their own “Edmund Nudges” list, each one linking back to the note. It stays off until you turn it on.
That’s brain dump mode. Switch the capture screen from Note to Brain dump, then talk (or type) for as long as you like, about as many things as you like. Pause for a beat between thoughts and Edmund breaks the ramble into separate notes, triages each one on its own, and leaves the lot in your Inbox to confirm. On an iPhone or Mac with Apple Intelligence, or with your own Anthropic key, it splits on meaning as well as on your pauses; on an older device with no key a pause is the only boundary it has, so do leave one. The full text of what you said is kept either way, with every note linking back to it. Get it all out of your head in one go and let Edmund do the sorting.
Yes. Say “Edmund note” (or “Edmund capture”), and when it asks what to capture, dictate your note. It drops straight into your inbox to triage later, no app open. The trick is to start with the name. What won’t work is “Tell Edmund” or “Add to Edmund”: Siri reads “Tell …” as sending a message and “Add to …” as its own Reminders or Notes, and answers them itself before Edmund is ever asked. Open with “Edmund” and you’re fine. That’s Apple’s doing, not mine.

Yes. On-device AI triage works with no connection at all. Routing a note onward to a destination needs the network, of course.
Yes. Your subscription is managed through your App Store account. Cancel there and you keep Pro until the period ends.
